Corylus Holiday Club 2025 (26 Aug - 29 Aug 2025)

Join us for some summer fun on the beautiful Forest School site & playing fields at Conifers House School, Midhurst. There'll be den building, paddling in the stream, rope swing challenge, sand & woodchip play, nature crafts, sports and more...

The holiday club is based on the Conifers House School Forest School site, paddock & playing fields and runs from 9am - 4pm. We provide a range of stimulating and creative nature-based activities for the children each day, often themed around the seasons/animals/plants.

Children who attend love to explore and build dens in our wooded area, splash in the small stream and try out our nature-inspired crafts. We also have opportunities for sports on the school field, which is joined to the forest school site.

We have a cosy teepee and gazebos where children can relax, look at books, draw and chat to new and old friends. In chillier or wet moments we also use the teepee for our snack and lunch time.

All activities are outdoors so the children must be dressed appropriately with a full change of clothes and shoes. The site has a wooden pavilion with a flushing toilet. We will support younger children to use the toilet as it can be quite tricky when you are wearing outdoor waterproofs/layers.

The club days are led by an adult qualified in teaching/childcare. Our ratios are 1 adult to 5 children and the group sizes are  a maximum of 20 children.

All lead staff are First Aid trained and all staff are DBS checked with either a safeguarding qualification or training.
